Popular American YouTuber MrBeast has reportedly sunk over 50 Wells in the country according to his latest video.
In the video, the 25 year old content creator was recorded going around various parts of Africa to build wells to improve accessibility to water.
The video which has already garnered millions of views, started with him constructing some wells in Kenya, including one for a school system in Nairiri village.
He received a huge welcome ceremony at the school and was shown around the area. It was revealed that the school was actually obtaining water from a river nearby, which was unsanitary and, thereby, dangerous.
The YouTuber later stated that the new well would not only provide water for the school itself but also for the surrounding neighborhood and village.
They constructed the wells using a large drill that reached the underground water supply.
He subsequently provided a school with new computers, projectors, and books before visiting other regions with water scarcity and accessibility issues.
Locals warmly welcomed MrBeast at each location, and viewers witness the joy of the people as they gain access to drinking water.
After making the wells, MrBeast donated water tanks to the people, allowing them to store and use the water as needed.
Following his philanthropic works, Kenyans on X formerly Twitter praised the YouTuber for transforming lives in rural areas.
They called for proper recognition of the 25-year-old.
“Beast dug 52 wells, constructed a bridge and provided computers to schools in Kenya and not even single media house covered that!” one social media user wrote.
In his latest post however, MrBeast announced that he was ready for all negative comments despite his charity works.
“I already know I’m gonna get canceled because I uploaded a video helping people, and to be 100% clear, I don’t care. I’m always going to use my channel to help people and try to inspire my audience to do the same, ” he wrote.
