Martin Shikuku’s Son Vows To Expose Judiciary As Succession Of His Father’s Wealth Drags For Years

Date:

Emmanuel Noel Shikuku wants President William Ruto to intervene in the succession of wealth left behind by his father, the late Martin Shikuku.

According to Emmanuel, he has been in court for years but the matter is yet to be concluded as the prosecution as well as the court have been taking them in circles.

“I’ve been in court for years, every time during the court proceedings, the prosecution will say that they did not file the documents in court which leads to the case being postponed for three or four months,” he said, adding that, “Another time, we were informed that the judge went on leave. This is the abuse of power. I’m talking to the President to help me.”

He further vowed to expose the rot in the country’s judicial system if President Ruto helps him.

According to him he has been collecting evidence of corruption for the times he has been in court.

Martin Shikuku served as an assistant minister during Jomo Kenyatta’s tenure as president. He died in 2012 after battling cancer for long.
Some of the properties he left include a 100-acre peace of land in Trans Nzioa, a lavish home in Kibra and others in Butere, South C, Lavingtone and an unknown amount of money in different accounts in the country and abroad.
