Tanzanian Media entrepreneur and musician Diamond Platinumz is making headlines after showing up on stage in a coffin.
Diamond made the weird entrance while performing in the ongoing Wasafi festival at Ruangwa, Lindi district.
In the horrific scene, there were four coffins on stage, men dressed in black horror costumes with lanterns, a skeleton dangling on the stage and horrifying creatures playing on the screen with horror themed music playing in the background.
“Coming out from the coffin was an insane experience last night. I was scared as f*ck in there!” Diamond reminisced the moment.

Kenyan rapper Khaligraph Jones pulled a similar stunt in 2017. Reacting to Diamond’s recent entrance, the rapper took credit for the stunt.
“I did it 6 years ago, the OG shall be respected,” he bragged.
In a bid to make their performances memorable, artists across the world found ways to leave a lasting impact on their audience.
Wiyaala, a Ghanian artist who is referred to as the lioness of Africa, also captivated her fans a few days ago when she stormed the stage on a motorbike.
Nigerian artist Wizkid on the other hand chose to descend from above during his show in France in September last year.
The previous year he also pulled a similar stunt in London but on a flat surface with candles surrounding him.
Red hot Chilli Peppers is an American band formed in 1982 in Los angeles. During one of their early shows, The crew made a stage entrance with nothing but only socks covering their manhoods.
Finally, Burna Boy, In 2021, performed in his sold out show in London at the O2 arena.
He made his stage appearance in a spaceship.
