There was some disturbing news today after a police helicopter carrying the Eastern Regional Commissioner went down at Kaithe Kithoka in Meru County.
The police chopper with the tail number 5Y NPW went down in a place that can best be described as tree-lined. Citizen Digital was the first to report that the plane might have developed mechanical problems.
Luckily, no casualties have been reported.
It is alleged that the Eastern Regional commissioner and his security team were headed to Moyale for a joint security meeting with North Eastern counterparts. They have since been rushed to the hospital.
