Babu Owino has stated that the majority of Kenyan leaders elected to office are stupid.
Babu Owino says, politicians and leaders in Kenya, according to the legislator, should not play the tribe card anymore.
The outspoken and combative MP claimed that it was simply pointless.
“It’s pure BALDERDASH for leaders to be tribal in this country.Mara sisi kama Luhyas,Mara sisi kama Kikuyus,Mara sisi kama wajaluo,this is nonsensical.Most leaders you elected are stupid.” he says.
His words come against the context of elected leaders banding together based on tribal connections to push for regional agendas.
Those running for politics in Kenya have always campaigned by meeting their constituents based on their tribes.
However, throughout the 2022 campaigns leading up to the August General Elections, the campaigns focused on the country’s economic transition rather than voting along tribal lines as in the past.
