DCI sleuths kill wanted armed criminal in Nairobi night shoot out

Date:

DCI says, sounds of deafening gunfire reverberated in the air, rat-a-tat-tat-tat!

Following a deadly battle between detectives stationed at DCI Makadara and three armed gangsters who were on a robbery mission just before midnight, one armed thug was killed last night.

As the undercover DCI sleuths silenced the armed thugs in response after they disobeyed orders to surrender and turned upon our troops, sounds of deafening gunfire reverberated in the air, rat-a-tat-tat-tat!

After the shootout, a flying Subaru ya Mambaru sped by the estate as the detectives pursued the two remaining suspects, whose bodies were covered in gunshot wounds and who had fled into the Mariguini slums’ darkly lit alleys.

The lawless gang was ruthlessly targeting people on Mariakani road. At the scene of the incident, the fallen thug’s lifeless body was found sprawled in a storm drain ditch with his tools of the trade nearby, including a homemade gun that was loaded with two live 9mm rounds and a communication device that looked like a police walkie-talkie.

Detectives from the DCI Forensic Crime Location Investigations team filmed the scene of the crime as the body was taken to a morgue in the city for an upcoming autopsy.
