The case against Sarah Wairimu and her co-defendants in the death of Dutch businessman Tob Cohen has been dropped by DPP Haji.
Following Cohen’s death, whose body was found in a septic tank at their home in the couple’s Kitisuru, Sarah Wairimu was being charged with murder.
The legal struggle between Sarah Wairimu, the widow of Dutch businessman Tob Cohen, and her estranged in-laws for ownership of her husband’s multimillion-shilling estate, took a twist when Sarah Wairimu won in the first round.
A Sh400 million home in the affluent neighborhood of Kitisuru, shares at Tobs Limited, the travel agency Cohen Tours, and Sh150 million in cash in domestic and foreign banks are at the center of the conflict.
She admitted in court earlier this year that she was the owner of the original Will. The court has been challenged with determining whether paper is legal because the details of the two documents were different.
