Former Jubilee secretary general Raphael Tuju has admitted that they indeed met with wafula Chebukati very early in the morning at 3AM as opposed to 4AM.
According to Tuju, he sought audience with Wafula Chebukati on several occasions but the chairman was very reluctant to see him.
Tuju said that all he wanted was to bring to the attention of Chebukati after one of the IEBC officials told him that forms 34As were being brought down and replaced by fishy individuals.
At the same time, Tuju revealed that at some point chairman Wafula Chebukati, commissioners Guliye and Boya Molu went to see him in Karen where the three wanted him to engage in dirty businesses which never materialized.
“But I want to go back and state that these people are not strangers to me. I want Mr. Chebukati to explain to me and to explain to Kenyans when he came to a secret location to meet with me and what was that discussion all about. At Least he has talked about the discussion where the ten people were at Bomas. What was the discussion when he came to see me in Karen?”
“Number two, i want Mr. Guliye and Mr. Molu to explain what they came to do in my house and the drift in that discussion was more of auctioneers rather than commissioners. I want them to say they never came to my house. I will make the CCTV cameras they never came to my house so that they can be investigated by the DCI to establish whether i am saying the truth or not because to my house they came.”
Tuju further claimed that when he brought to the attention of Guliye that forms 34As were being changed, he dismissed him that there was nothing he could do since he was not the returning officer and he ought to have gone to raise the same with Wafula Chebukati.
