“The Only Thing I Gained From Wajackoyah Was A Plate Of Ugali”-Justina Wamae

Date:

It seems the war between the roots party leader George Luchiri Wajackoyah and his running mate Justina Wamae is not just ending anytime soon.

While speaking to the local media, Justina Wamae refuted claims that she was offered material and financial support by his party leader George Wajackoyah.

According to her, it’s only her husband who stood by her during the campaign times and the only significant thing she remembers from Wajackoyah is eating a plate of food when they paid a courtesy call to his village in Western Kenya.

“When i went to the Roots party i was very honest that i did not have the financial muscles for it and the party leader said that lets first jump every bridge when it comes. My husband has been very supportive and I say the business we do. So nothing even a sweet, the only thing i can say is that when we went to his village in Koyonzo i ate a plate of food.” She said.

This came in the wake of Justina Wamae being accused by her party boss Gerge Wajackoya of advocating for William Ruto’s ideologies as opposed to their own. This was part of the summon letter to the female running mate:

“It is in our knowledge that you have continuously disassociated yourself with the party and its ideologies. You have associated yourself without opponents and advocated for their ideologies,” wrote Wachira.

“We have instructions from the party leader to demand that you cease and desist from speaking, uttering, or purporting to speak on behalf of the Roots Party of Kenya,” noted Wachira.

“Failure to stop the misrepresentation and irresponsible utterances, we have instructions to institute a legal action against you without further notice, to you, to your peril as to cost and consequences.”

Justina also took a swipe at her boss for being disorganized and not paying agents across the country to take care of their votes.

“Saying that votes were stolen is simply preposterous when I see some parties like the Roots Party, who as a member I can confidently say we were disorganized in regards to agents mobilizations.” She claimed.
