Shocking! Ghanaian Man Mysteriously Loses His Genitals While Enjoying A Daytime Nap

Date:

A Ghanaian man is reportedly hospitalized  after he accidentally chopped off his testicles while sleeping on a chair.

Kofi Atta, a farmer, told BBC pidgin, that he had taken an afternoon nap when he began dreaming that he was cutting some pieces of meat that were before him meant for a meal for his household.

“I was sitting on the chair when I dozed off. In the sleep, I dreamt that I was cutting meat that was in front of me,” Atta narrated.

Everything in the dream seemed to be so real but he began shouting for help. Two of his neighbors rushed to the scene thinking that he had been attacked and met him in a pool of blood.

Atta tried to get up from the chair which he was sitting on only for him to feel sharp pain in his genitals and realized what he had done to himself while he was asleep. He was rushed to the hospital by the neighbors.

“I am very confused, I don’t remember how I picked the knife,” he said.

Doctors have advised the 47-year old to undergo surgery so as to ‘repair’ his testicles. He has called upon well wishers to contribute for him towards the procedure that he is set to undergo  at Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital.

“Right now I am here in hospital, I have been given fluids and injections but I need surgery and I don’t have money,” he said.

The man is believed to be suffering from Parasomnia. Parasomnia is a sleep disorder that makes one do unusual and undesirable events and activities before or during sleep.
