Controversial tik toker Aq9ine has denied eating a spider days after he shared a video of his swollen face with rashes on his skin claiming that it resulted from feasting on the arachnid.
According to him, no one in his or her right mind can eat a spider because of its ‘ugly look’ and the hairs on its skin that can pierce you.
“I did not eat a spider, the spider ate me. Don’t believe everything you see on social media. Can you eat a spider?It has hairs on its back that can pierce you. You can’t eat such a thing in your right mind,” Aq9ine said in an interview with Nicholas Kioko.
He explained that he only said he had eaten the arachnid out of tension but that was not the case.
“I was bitten by the spider here(on the hand). I only said that because I was tense. It happened when I was at work(mjengo) with my foreman. The spider bit me while I was at Chogoria in a hardware store. I had rashes everywhere,” the tik toker said, noting that it was not a very big spider.
He also refuted claims that the video had been edited saying that he was swollen because of the spider’s venom.
Aq9ine further said that he was not admitted in hospital as it was widely reported in the media. He said that he was just treated at home by a doctor and he got better. He added that he was not responsible for the hospital posts on his Insta stories since his Instagram account is logged in four phones of his close friends and a relative.
He however did not deny that he feasts weird meals like bats, rats, moles and even grass.
