More Headache For Ruto As DCI Sleuths Raid His Transnational Private Office, Critical Items Retrieve

Date:

Deputy president William Samoei Ruto is not having it easy in the latest move by the DCI sleuths to raid his Transnational Private Office in Nairobi’s Central Business District.

According to reports, about five police vehicles raided Ruto’s facility where they camped for some time before forcing their way inside.

According to the Nairobi Regional Commissioner James Mugera, they wanted to verify some reorts that the Transnational private had some private servers whose aim remained unclear.

Other sources revealed that the move might have been informed by the busting of the three Venezuelans who might have given the detectives critical information about the same.

From this latest raid, it seems the war between the deputy president and Mr. George Kinoti is not ending anytime soon after the former took a swipe at the latter on Sunday to keep off from election matters.

Ruto not only told off Kinoti to spare the Chebukati led commission but he also reminded him how incompetent he has been since he was appointed into that office by their Jubilee regime.

Since the three Venezuelans were caught in possession of vital election materials, there has been tension in the country with various bodies calling upon the electoral commission to take charge.

According to the DCI, the foreigners were caught with the election items which they were ferrying in their personal luggage which should not be the case.

Put to task to explain how they got the sensitive materials, these foreigners confessed that they were to deliver them to a Faceless individual called Abdulahi in some rented apartment in Nairobi as opposed to the IEBC warehouse.

Interestingly, IEBC chairman Wafula Chebukati had earlier defended these foreigners as IEBC employees who were on an official mission to deliver the upcoming general elections. It later turned out that these people had no official contract with the IEBC, leaving Kenyans wondering why the chairman vehemently defended them as he accused police officers of harassing their staff.
