Migori governor Okoth Obado’s aide Mr. Michael Oyamo has opened up on smashing his boss’ sidechiq the late Sharon Otieno.
The court was told on Thursday that Mr. Oyamo had a sharp disagreement with Sharon Otieno before she died following some scuffles.
The scuffles were as a result of Sharon Otieno making unrealistic demands to Mr. Michael Oyamo who had impregnated her. She wanted 240,000 Kenya shillings monthly upkeep and 600,000 Kenya shillings to furnish her house.
Police constable Howard Omwoha who was a prosecution witness revealed at the Milimani law courts that the aide claimed responsibility for the pregnancy at Uriri police station, just a day after the Rongo University student was murdered.
Michael Oyamo made these shocking revelations of having a love affair with Obado’s sidechiq the day he went to report that he had been kidnapped a day earlier by unknown people at Rongo town.
“Mr Oyamo told me that the previous night –September 3, 2018- at around 8pm he was abducted by three men who went with him and he found himself in Kisii town the following day. Since it was a serious matter I sought to know how it happened,” said Mr Omwoha.
Mr. Omwoha continued: “Mr Oyamo told me he went to Rongo to meet his girlfriend at Treat House. Later the girlfriend called and said they meet at Graca Hotel. He said the girlfriend was Sharon,”
In fact, the report by Michael Oyamo stated that he had serious differences with the deceased Sharon and wanted to solve them that particular night.
“As a matter of concern I wanted to know the problem for record purposes. He said she was pregnant for him and wanted Sh600,000 to furnish the house and a total sum of Sh240,000 for monthly upkeep,” said Mr Omwoha.
A few minutes later, the man who was with the late Rongo university student called a taxi at Graca Hotel which arrived with three other men on board. They would then board the car with Mr. Oyamo too just a few hours before Sharon was murdered and dumped in the forest.
Well, the new twist of Michael Oyamo feasting on the sidechiq of his boss governor Okoth Obado has left Kenyans at crossroad.
