Si Mimba! Size 8 Explains Why She Appears To Have Added Weight Around Her Belly

Date:

Gospel singer and preacher Linet Munyali, known as Size 8  by her stage name has denied claims that she is expectant after her fans noticed that she was adding weight around her belly.

Speaking to YouTube content creators Nicholas Kioko and Vincent Mboya after Friday Prayer meeting at CPF Church in Nairobi, the mother of two set the record straight noting that she only wants to do God’s work right now and is not ready to be a mother for another time.

“It is just the cloth, cotton. There is a stiff net inside. Right now I don’t want a child and I am not expecting. I am not praying for a child. I am satisfied and I just want to do God’s work,” Size 8 said.

The Mateke hitmaker noted that her health is not stable to allow her go through another pregnancy and that she has previously suffered two miscarriages. Her successful pregnancies were also not easy.

“For me health wise, it [pregnancy] is a threat. I almost miscarried Wambo(her firstborn daughter) because of high blood pressure known as extreme preeclampsia. After Wambo I lost a child before Junior(her son). Junior’s [pregnancy] nearly killed me, I would get paralyzed, by the God’s grace I delivered but preterm he was very small. After I got pregnant again last year and that almost killed me, unfortunately my baby didn’t survive,” she recounted.

The singer welcomed her daughter, Ladasha Wamboi, on November 19, 2015 while Muraya Junior was born on November 12, 2019. Size 8  said that she was advised not to try getting any more children.

“I love children, even 10 of them but my health… and I pray that God will get me out of taking pressure drugs,” she said.
