Garissa Town MP Aden Duale has found himself on the wrong side after he was captured pushing away one of the newest members of Kenya Kwanza Alliance.
The incident occurred during a press conference that had been called by the Kenya Kwanza to unveil Kilifi governor Amason Kingi’s party, Pamoja African Alliance(PAA), as the latest member of the coalition.
At the time DP William Ruto was about to start his speech, PAA’s candidate for Kilifi gubernatorial seat George Kithi showed up, wanting to squeeze himself between governor Kingi and ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi, with some Kenyans suggesting that he wanted to be closer to DP Ruto.
Duale, who was standing on the right side of DP Ruto just after National Assembly speaker Justin Muturi could not watch the protocol being broken and acted as fast as he could.
The lawmaker immediately shoved his hand to get a hold of Kithi before he could fit in the position he had targeted and directed him to stand at the edge of the group.

The matter was however turned into a campaign by Azimio la Umoja supporters who criticized Duale and Kenya Kwanza at large.
“George Kithi was PAA’s main candidate in the Kilifi Gubernatorial race. Because he is a child of nobody, the bosses in the hustler movement ejected him like a pig from the main podium. Be sure that Mama Mboga will NEVER get a chance at the table,” Robert Alai said.
“Politics is a game of perception. This kind of humiliation George Kithi was subjected to by Kenya Kwanza is a big shame. Baptism by fire,” George Oluga said.
