Socialite Faith Makau commonly known as Amber Ray has opened up on the events that led to her separating with her baby daddy.
Speaking to Obinna TV, on the Toxic Boyfriend segment, Amber revealed that the relationship was toxic and that is why she had to walk away after 8 years of marriage
The two were neighbors and fell in love, they moved in together in Kahawa West., not very far from her parent’s home and both were hustlers but were serving couple goals.
“We just met in the hood, he was my neighbor. We loved each other, actually we got a kid together. We were staying together. Beyonce and Jay Z was our nickname. Our love was something else,” the mother of one recalled.
Things started changing after they welcomed their son, Gavin. Immediately after welcoming their son, her partner landed a better job immediately and from there he started being unfaithful.
She would confront him but that just worsened the situation at hand. One day he came home and found that the gate had been locked. He called Amber to ask their landlord to open the gate because he had the keys but he refused and he had to go back to wherever he had come from.
“He was outside of course having fun, he came late around 12am. The gate used to be opened at 6 am. He came back, I was sleeping on the bed with the baby, my son around 8 months. He poured water on us saying that we were sleeping yet the owner of the house had not slept,” Amber narrated.
Her baby daddy continued showing her contempt, forcing the mother of one to find her own means of survival. She however forgave him for the water incident.
“I started looking for a job and when he saw I was serious, that is when he got me a job at a Casino,” she said.
The two worked at the same place with Amber being a waitress while her son’s father was a driver.
The guy however started getting jealous and insecure when he saw clients that wanted to be served by Amber. She however changed jobs. By then her love for him had faded away and she would care less what he does but at no point did she cheat on home.
One day, Amber came home late because she had to catch up with a friend and the aftermath caused her to reconsider being with Gavin’s father.
“When I got home, my house manager was trembling and asked me whether I had talked to Gavin’s father that he was looking for me. I ignored her, so I went to bed. I don’t know where he came from, but he confronted me asking where I was coming from,” she said.
He descended on her with blows and hit her on the wall. She was lucky enough since her younger brother showed up and saved her from a further beating. Below is her full narration on the events of the fateful day.
