“We are Cartels” Eric Omondi Brags After Affording To Buy Liters Of ‘Gold’ To Surprise Eve Mungai

Date:

Digital content creator and YouTuber Eve Mungai turned 22 years on Wednesday April 6, and she held a party to celebrate the milestone.

Eve invited a number of her friends including top content creators and celebrities like Eric Omondi, Kabi wa Jesus, Ringtone among others.

With the current hardships and challenges facing Kenyans, Eric decided to surprise Eve with Elianto cooking oil saying that it is difficult to find cooking oil right now in supermarkets and across the country.

“This is like gold now. To buy this oil now you have to be in wash wash, don’t you see the color? Where can you find this right now? ” Eric told presenter Ali who was interviewing him.

The present was however not wrapped with Eric saying that everybody should see that he can afford that now.

“There is no oil, we are cartels, wash wash. If there is something I show off is the cooking oil how do you hide it,” he said.

Eric further told Eve that she can apply the oil on her body, use it as car fuel as well as cooking with it. He however refused to reveal where he had gotten the oil from.

Aside from cooking oil shortage, the country is also facing a shortage of milk and eggs as well as fuel. This has seen prices of the commodities get hiked, further hardening the lives of common citizens.

The shortage of milk has been attributed to shortage of rains in the country and it is feared that the situation could last longer. As of now, a liter of milk is being sold at Kshs.70-75 from the initial price of Kshs.50.

Others however claim that the shortage is as a result of the shortage of fuel prices that has rocked the country for days now.
