Questions have been raised about the whereabouts of Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka since he has been notably missing in Azimio la Umoja campaigns.
Kalonzo’s wiper party was among over 20 parties that signed a deal to support Raila Odinga’s presidential candidature in the August general elections during Azimio la Umoja that was held on March 12,2022
He went ahead and said that he had consulted his party members and they all agreed that joining the movement was a wise decision.
However, his absence in Azimio la Umoja campaigns has left Kenyans wondering what he is up to.
Azimio has organized several campaigns in Western recently and some parts of the country and it was expected that Kalonzo would join and drum up support for Baba.
Kenyans are now coming to conclusions that Kalonzo is probably not interested in supporting Raila for another time. Others have however suggested that the leader is busy preparing for his campaigns in 2027 and here are some of their comments.
“Since Kalonzo Musyoka joined us he has been on holiday in Zanzibar or what? I feel like he is either feeling lazy or just uninterested. LOL…. Where is @skmusyoka,” Robert Alai shared on Twitter.
“Kalonzo Musyoka is planning his campaign for 2027 after Baba has won this election of 2022 , he should come out and campaign !” Sharon Moraa said.
“Where is Kalonzo Musyoka ? Today the Undisputed 5th President of the Republic of Kenya Hon Raila Odinga in Mulembe nation will be meeting his voters at Likuyani,Panpaper to Lumakanda, Malaga and Finally in kambiri, Western Kenya Is already Azimionated 78%+,”,” Frank Mtetezi wroteÂ
The wiper party leader however has however been seen carrying out his party’s activities. On Friday welcomed former Nairobi governor Mike Sonko to his party.
