Comedian Mulamwah has come clean on the issue of withholding his baby mama’s social media accounts.
A few weeks ago, Carrol Sonnie claimed that the Facebook and Instagram accounts under the name of Carrol Sonnie did not belong to her but Mulamwah, something that caused mixed reactions with her followers sympathizing with her.
According to Mulamwah, who spoke in an interview with SPM Buzz, the accounts actually belonged to his entertainment company, Mulamwah Entertainment.
“If you see anybody there, Vaal, Ruth, Keilah, all those accounts are opened by them. They run them, they make sure you look good. They dress you and take you to those treats, that’s how they create your brand expecting that when you start making money, the company will also benefit,” Mulamwah said.
Being in a relationship with Mulamwah, was not an exemption for Carrol regarding the social media accounts since she was also an artist and the company would have not benefited from investing in her accounts when she wanted to go on a separate way.
He claimed that Carrol was misusing the accounts and that is why the company took the step of denying her access to them.
“It is the misuse that caused the accounts to be blocked because everyday you wake up and find someone has said something through the account, the next day it is the same now you get the accounts are being misused.
“We mutually broke up and the next day on the accounts she is saying meet my mubabaz she thought she was acting clever which is not even if you don’t talk about me but calling your mother talking about mubaba, you are the one perpetrating the story to go on. So I saw it was not a good thing and told her we would withhold the accounts for some time for things to calm, before she could proceed with the businesses “Mulamwah explained.
He however said that she was never in control of the accounts since the company was managing them. He went ahead to say that the company is also currently giving her some advertisement deals.
“We did not have any problem, but they were being misused so much. We were being fought with the same accounts, you teach someone Kung Fu and he fights you with it. Everything she is running now, the betting she is posting, we are the ones who have given her,” Mulamwah said.
“ We didn’t want to withhold her accounts, it is just that she decided to open her new one. Plus it would have been disrespectful to post her boyfriend on the accounts we created. That is not Jealous, businesses are not run like that,” he added
