A female student in Makerere University, Uganda, is nursing injuries after losing part of her ear during a fight with her coursemate.
The victim engaged in the fight recently with a fellow female student after it was established that she was having an affair with her opponent’s boyfriend.
According to a video shared on social media, the fight occurred inside one of the lecture rooms in the campus, however details of the names of the students were not provided.
Those who witnessed the fight say that the jealous girlfriend could be heard shouting, “Leave my man alone” before she bit off part of her colleague’s ear.
The fight lasted for a few seconds before those present intervened when things got out of hand.
Reacting to the video, some netizens claimed that that was a strange occurrence as others pitied the victim over the cost of treatment she had to incur .
Haizie Bettie said, “Hmmmm Lord have mercy on both us students and our beloved parents because the loss of the ear part is already an abrupt medical expense.”
