Suna East MP Junet Mohammed has defended Murang’a Women Representative Sabina Chege over her poll rigging remarks.
Speaking in Malaba, Busia County on Saturday, during the Azimio la Umoja tour, Junet said that Sabina spoke the truth and DP William Ruto should stop condemning her.
“I want to finish the Sabina Chege issue, she recently said that there was rigging in elections. I want to tell William Ruto that that is the truth of the matter. The supreme court nullified the August 8, 2017 elections.
“Baba won in the Supreme court when it was ruled that the election results were fake. The elections were repeated on October 26,2017. Now William Ruto is asking Sabina Chege to reduce drunkenness, you too reduce the things you are doing at night,” the MP said.
Junet insisted that the 2017 elections had issues and was repeated after two months but calmness was restored in the country when President Uhuru Kenyatta and Raila Odinga united through the handshake.
“We know that Ruto is a vote thief. This round there is no loophole for you to steal anybody’s votes,” he noted.
The lawmaker further criticized ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi and his Ford Kenya counterpart Moses Wetang’ula for following DP Ruto around in his campaigns like sheep.
“I have been surprised to see grown men who were lying to us that they want to be presidents following Ruto in his campaigns like sheep. I have heard on radio that there is a meeting in Amalemba, can you bring someone to their home as a bride? That’s a big shame, ” Junet said.
He went on to sell the former prime minister’s agendas to the locals in a bid to secure more votes.
“Baba Raila Amollo wants to change Kenyans lives, he wants to bring equality in the country. He has promised Kshs6000 for poor families and the government will educate the needy students.
