Jalang’o’s Final Words To Kamene Goro As He Quits Radio To Concentrate On Politics

Date:

Comedian and Radio presenter Jalang’o is having his last radio show on Wednesday before he fully embarks on politicking.

Jalang’o is eyeing the Lang’ata parliamentary seat in the August general elections and hopefully will be vying under the ODM ticket.

Giving his final remarks before taking his leave on Kiss FM Radio, the comedian said that it was now his time to become a leader and he shouldn’t wait any longer.

“The cutting call falls on me today as I begin a new chapter, officially to go and try my hands in politics. This is a calling that I feel after being told for  a very long time that the young people your time is coming, we are not young any more and if we waited any much longer, the time that we have been told is coming and that’s when we shall be leaders would have passed.

“It is a dream that I am going for, to try and be a different kind of leader and show people that good people are still there,” he said.

Jalang’o thanked his boss for believing in him and giving him the chance to be on radio. He also took the opportunity to tender his gratitude to all the people he interacted with at Kiss FM for the support.

“As we call it  a day here, I want to send a big thank you to the boss and CEO of this place who has always been a friend and a brother and has always opened his doors for me even when things look really dark on my side. Mr. Patrick Wako I will never ever forget,” he said

Without forgetting his Co-host Kamene Goro, Jalang’o said that they have helped each other grow in their two years of working together

“Big shout to you sis that when they thought that this would not work easily I can  tell you that Kamene and Jalas in the morning is one of the biggest, if not biggest morning radio show. We actually lived the purpose while here, a lot of our own fights, happy moments… The past two years have been about growth, inspiring each other and making sure that we live each other better than we found each other” Jalang’o said.

He however noted that the journey he embarking is not an easy one and needs his full focus but he is positive that he would be granted the ODM ticket.
