Veteran blogger Edgar Obare has exposed Mombasa governor Ali Hassan Joho as a deadbeat father who does not care.
According to a Youtube video, Edgar Obare got the information from the cousin to Joho’s wife who claimed that the Mombasa governor does not care for his kids very well.
As a result, Madina Giovanni, the wife to the outgoing Mombasa governor is asking for divorce due to infidelity issues and him being deadbeat at the same time.
The court papers seen by Sonko News reveals that the petitioner (Madina) were living as a wife and a husband with the Mombasa governor until he left their matrimonial home. Since then, the wife claims that she has been living alone.
The court papers further revealed the names of the two children they had who are aged 8 years and 9 years respectively.
As a result, Madina wants their marriage dissolved since their marriage cannot be salvaged after Joho started absconding his fatherly duties.
“There is no hope or possibility of reconciliation. The marriage has broken down irretrievably with no chance of revival given that both parties have moved on with their lives,” part of the court documents reads.
Governor Ali Hassan Joho’s wife has been living her life privately despite her husband being one of those popular politicians in the country.
While some Kenyans condemned the Mombasa governor for being deadbeat, there are those who argued that being a deadbeat is a personal choice and that he should be left alone.
