“Kijana Wangu Huvuta Bangi, Siwezimtupa Nje” Presidential Aspirant Vows To Legalize Bhang Once Elected

Date:

As politics of the coming elections heat up, a presidential aspirant has promised to legalize bhang once he scoops victory.

Speaking in an interview with a local TV station, George Wajackoya of the Roots Political party Professor George Wajackoya said that he would authorize cultivation of marijuana for export so as to earn the country income.

“Bhang must be planted. If in America they are planting Jamaica they are planting and selling, our work will be cultivating that bhang and selling it to smokers outside there so that we get that money to develop our country,” Wajackoya said in an interview with West TV.

According to the aspirant, there are leaders who use the dug. He says  that the ancient generation used the drug and that’s why they lived for many years.

“We are told chang’aa and bhang are bad but their whiskey and cigarettes with nicotine are good. Even the leaders use bhang, the elders used bhang and that’s why they had long lives. Abuse of something is wrong, even alcohol when you take too much of it is bad. What is wrong with Bhang?” he posed.

He added that he does not see anything wrong with the substance even though he does not use it and that people perceive it to be wrong only because the whites imposed the mentality on them.

“I have never smoked Marijuana, but my son does, and he is a footballer. I cannot throw away my son because he smokes bhang and someone else has drunk changaa. Let us face reality. If it is something that can lift the economy, let us utilize it,” the professor said.

He however said that he does not fear criticism over his intentions  while revealing that he has a bhang farm in Texas, US.
