Ugandan Prime Minister Under Fire For Claiming Kenya Is Experiencing Winter

Date:

Ugandan Prime Minister Robbinah Nabbanja has left netizens talking after claiming that Kenya experiences the winter season.

In an interview with Uganda’s NBS TV, the prime minister who is also the woman representative of Kakumiro District said that Uganda was a good country compared to other countries.

“We have a very good country compared to other countries, just go to Kenya here and see. They have winter, and we don’t,” Nabbanja said.

The statement left many wondering which part of Kenya is experiencing winter as some Ugandans hoped that Kenyans would not see the statement  since they will be trolled the whole week considering the fact that Kenya has excellent keyboard warriors.

“Which part of Kenya has winter? @MeteoKenya” Barti posed.

“My prayer in all this is for Kenyans not to find this for them not to find out her position in Ugandakuba ekitufu kili nti nabannja ye musilu alimu namagoba,” Winnie Chloe’s comment read.

Others however called out the minister for embarrassing not only herself but also her country as well as Ugandan president Yoweri Museveni.

“At a time when Ugandans wanted to start a war with Kenyans, the Ugandan Nabafisherman comes out to embarrass not only herself and her boss, but her country as well. Dear madam @RobinahNabbanjatalk-shows are for the well read and researched, just keep in your office and fish,” Prosper Ahabwe said.

A Kenyan hilariously responded to the statement saying that you can encounter anything in Kenya therefore winter should not be a surprise to them.
