KTNĀ News anchor Debarl Inea has banned Kitutu Chache member of parliament Richard Onyonka from setting his foot on his morning shows.
Apparently, Richard Onyonka gave the KTN morning show a wide berth, something which Debarl Inea could not stomach and according to the journalist, it was not the first time Richard Onyonka was turning down his invites to appear on the morning show without any explanations.
As a result, Debarl made it clear that Richard Onyonka has been blacklisted from his shows going into the future. Also visibly missing was senator Cherargei despite being invited by the news anchor.
The Tuesday morning show was attended by veteran political analyst Herman Manyora, Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) nominated member of parliament Wilson Sossion and Narok Senator Ledama Olekina.
The three leaders were giving their opinions on the recent political happenings in the country which saw Amani National Congress leader Musalia Mudavadi defect to William Ruto’s United Democratic Alliance (UDA) on Sunday.
Dubbed earthquake, Musalia Mudavadi vowed to make Kenya experience one of the most significant earthquakes that had never been felt in any part of the world since the creation of earth.
However, it seems the earthquake backfired on the ANC party leader himself since he lost his key allies in the One Kenya Alliance (OKA) after they walked out in protest having sensed the presence of the deputy president William Ruto and his entire UDA brigade.
In a statement, OKAās spokesperson Frederick Okango stated that they cannot be friends with Ruto and it was time to move to āhigher groundsā.
āUnfortunately, we have to part ways since some of his friends are not our friends and we are unsafe with them. It is time to move forward, it is time to end the nasty political games,ā said Okango, who is also KANU secretary general.
The OKA spokesperson also went ahead to wish Musalia Mudavadi all the best in his newly found home.
āWe would like to wish Hon. Mudavadi the best of luck as he joins his other partners. There is no room for damages,āOkango stated.
The ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi while joining the deputy president insisted that nobody would choose for them friends.
āI would rather die on my feet than live on my knees. We will not allow anyone to choose friends for us. These shenanigans are aimed at subverting free, fair and verifiable elections by crippling political parties. There are shameful maneuvers to assault and curtail Kenyansā political rights to associate and freely choose their leaders,ā Mudavadi said.
Mudavadi was also a victim of his own earthquake because most of members of parliament from the Amani national Congress such as Lugari MP Ayub Savula, Khwisero Member of Parliament Christopher Aseka and Matungu constituency MP Oscar Nabulindo amongst others have dumped him like hot potato.
According to these leaders, Mudavadi betrayed them by matching his own stomach to William Ruto without consulting them and their supporters.
