“Whoever Did This Will Do It Again” Concerns As Motive Behind Esther Wambui’s Brutal Murder Remains A Mystery

Date:

An autopsy on the body of Esther Wambui that dumped near GSU Recce Squad base in Ruiru, Kiambu inside a suitcase indicates that she died of strangulation.

The autopsy report further says that 18-year old Esther was hit with a blunt object on the head.

The autopsy was conducted at the City mortuary by Pathologist Simon Omuok in the presence of her boyfriend Joseph Ngige, whom she lived with, and her father Samuel Mbugua.

It is alleged that the deceased might have been sexually abused before she was murdered. The police took samples to conduct further investigations on the same.

Esther worked as a waitress at a local eatery where she had just worked for two weeks, earning Kshs300 per day.

Her body was found on Monday January 17 by the roadside with the words ‘Mwanamme wa mtu ni sumu’ written on her body.

It is alleged that she left for work with Nginge on the fateful day at 5 am in the morning but according to her colleagues, she never reported to work.

So far no arrests have been made and the motive of the murder is yet to be established thus raising concerns among Kenyans.

“Whoever did this will kill again. Unfortunately,” a social media user said.

The police however believe that the messages on her body was meant to distract investigations.
