Newly-wed Esther Musila shared her opinion on happiness and according to Musila, happiness is not drawn from marriage or stable career and good incomes but from choices to put the past behind and prioritising self-esteem and self-love.
“The happiest women today are not the married ones. They’re not the single ones. They’re not the ones with stable careers and good incomes.
According to Musila, the happiest women are those that love themselves wholly and truly and are willing to work on their self-esteem.
“The happiest women are the ones who chose to love themselves wholly and truly. Women who decided to leave the past behind worked on their self-esteem and put a high price tag on their self-esteem,” she wrote.
“They stopped playing victims. They stopped whining in self-pity and dining in pity parties. They moved past their anger, tears and bitterness,” she added.
The mother of three noted that happiness especially among women is entirely a choice and a personal responsibility.
“Happiness is a personal choice and responsibility. They are happy because they don’t need validation from anyone. They are happy because they know that they don’t need to throw shade on anyone for them to shine. They are happy because they chose to be Queens,” she wrote in conclusion.
This comes barely a week after Esther said ‘I do’ to her longtime lover musician Guardian Angel on Tuesday, January 4, 2022.
The lovebirds exchanged their vows in a garden wedding that took place at Bliss garden, Thome Estate on the same day Guardian turned 33.
