Kenyan legendary dancer, Kanda King is appealing to his fans to help him raise Ksh990, 000 to help him undergo hips replacement.
According to a poster he has shared on his social media pages, all his hips need to urgently be replaced at a cost of Ksh495,000 each.
Kanda King says he is scheduled to undergo the procedure at Ladnan hospital in Nairobi in three weeks.
“I shall be undergoing a total hip replacement at Ladnan hospital in three weeks. Each hip replacement (arthroplasty) is costing Ksh495,000, totalling Ksh990,000.
“I’m seeking donations/contributions of any kind from well-wishers, friends, relatives to support me. Your financial contribution will be highly appreciated,” the poster read.
The entertainer has also revealed that he started experiencing pain about five years ago before he realized that he had injured his hips during his heydays when he was showcasing his talents by doing all manner of things including acrobatic stunts to entertain people.
His attempt to treat the condition in the past has not yielded fruits hence the need for advanced medical attention.
