Peris Tobiko Asks DP Ruto For Forgiveness On Behalf Of Her Brother CS Keriako Tobiko

Date:

Kajiado East MP Peris Tobiko has apologized to DP William Ruto on behalf of her brother, Environment and Forestry CS Keriako Tobiko.

Peris asked DP Ruto for forgiveness during a political rally on Saturday January 8, at the Eldoret sports ground.

This is after CS Tobiko referred to the second in command as a clerk while calling upon him to respect President Uhuru Kenyatta.

“I went to Ruto’s home in Karen, identified myself as Peris Tobiko and asked for forgiveness on behalf of my brother Keriako Tobiko who referred to him as a clerk.

“I told him that if he wants my head then he should bring me to Uasin Gishu so that I can ask for forgiveness. That’s why I am here today. Will you tell him to forgive me” she asked the crowd.

The crowd agreed to her request  and she thanked them while asking them to vote for DP Ruto in the coming elections.

She also told the gathering that Kajiado county was firmly behind the Deputy president’s presidential bid.

CS Tobiko referred to DP Ruto as a clerk in September 2020 during a tour in Narok county. His attack towards DP followed a tweet by Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen who referred to the CS  as a clerk saying that he needed to respect Ruto.

“Mr. Tobiko you are a mere clerk in Jubilee government. You forget so fast that you became a CS because the President was trying to get rid of you from the office of DPP. You have no moral authority to lecture your boss the DP even if he is being molested by his boss.First try to be MCA,” tweeted Murkomen.
