Gospel artist Owen Mwatia aka Daddy Owen has responded to claims that he is eyeing Juliani’s ex actress Brenda Wairimu.
Speculations that he was hitting on Brenda were triggered by his comment on a post by the actress.
”Are you related to fashion? Coz you guys look alike,” Daddy Owen’s comment read.
His comment was interpreted as flirting and bloggers claimed that he was shooting his shot at the mother of one.
Daddy Owen questioned how he was shooting his shot by the comment but Brenda responded saying that that they should go out for coffee.
“Juu ya hii story wacha ata nikupeleke kahawa,” Brenda responded.
“Aki bloggers weh hamtaki nimalize mwaka kwa amani? Compliment mmesema imekua “Daddy Owen shooting his shot” kwani mtumishi hafai kucompliment mtu on a Sunday?? Lazima munianike nikama leso kwa kamba yawa Awuoro,” Daddy Owen took to his Instagram account to clear up things.
The artist has now called bloggers to leave him alone because he does not want to be the topic of discussion again. At such a time last year he was also trending after his wife dumped him.
“Muniwache.. muniwache..!! A week like this last year I was trending by extension coz of someone else actions, I ended up trending for 5 weeks!!tafadhali this year muniwache tu nikule Christmas kwa amani please. Sawa??” he said.
Daddy Owen was dumped by his wife Farida Wambui towards the end of last year. Wambui got married to a Nakuru tycoon just a week later after the separation, leaving with him their two sons.
Last month, he revealed that he had not moved on with his life after the break up with Farida and he had no plans of dating.
“Are u dating? Are u planning to date soon? NO! Why?I think such emotional mess makes people carry a lot in their hearts and that’s dangerous to the next partner who might be innocent. Btw vulnerability is my strength. I am not Saint but a man.. not just a man.. but a MAN OF GOD!” the singer shared on Instagram.
