COTU Secretary General Francis Atwoli shared a photo of him with ODM leader Raila Odinga having a good time at his Kilifi home.
“Having a cup of coffee with Baba, @RailaOdinga, at my Bofa Ocean View Home in Kilifi. Wonderful reflections,” read the caption of the photo.
Keen followers were however quick to notice something strange with the photo; a woman hiding so that she could not appear in the picture.
Netizens could not understand why the lady would hide and some were quick to judge that she had been told to do so.
The photo has become a subject of discussion with netizens sharing mixed reactions and has made Atwoli among the trending subjects on twitter.
“Omwami Atwoli invited Baba to his Kilifi beach house and he became the visitor in his own home,” Muhammad Onyango tweeted.
“Atwoli must be the richest Luhya,” Shawn Tuesday said.
On the other hand, exiled lawyer Miguna Miguna accused him of stealing public property stating that that’s one of the reasons why Raila should not become the president.
“Francis Atwoli: You stole everything from COTU. Pauperized Kenyan workers who live in hovels while you swagger like a monarch from their sweat. Your Tweet and image is Exhibit “1” on why Conman @RailaOdingamust be REJECTED by Kenyans on August 9, 2022,” Miguna wrote.

Abuga Makori wrote, “What Mzee Atwoli can see while seated at the shores of Indian Ocean CANNOT be seen by Tangatanga on top of Mt Kenya. Mzee knows Raila Odinga will be president.”
Evans Miloo Rutto said, “Please next time scrutinize nice photos where baba looks jovial before posting.” While Ole Pekiro accused atwoli of mistreating his employees.
“This shows that u r mistreating your employees. You are mistreating the hustlers,” Pekiro said.
