Nyashinski has called upon his fans and Kenyans in general not to fall victims of a twitter user that is impersonating him.
This is after the pseudo twitter account with his name asked Kenyans on Twitter to submit their numbers so that he/she can send them some money.
“Tumeni number niwatumie kakitu kwa M-pesa. 1hr chance,” read the tweet on the pseudo account.

The user went ahead and asked those wishing to get the money to first retweet the post and asked those who were yet to receive the token to do so on some app he shared.
A number of unsuspecting twitter users fell for the scam and shared their private numbers with the scammer.
Nyashinski has however come out to warn Kenyans about the pseudo account saying that that was not him.
“This is NOT Me. Please stop sending money!”he said on his real Twitter account, Real Shinski.

On December 11, Nyashinski raised concern about the fake account after the owner posted the artist’s wedding photo.
“You’re the best part of my life, i can’t explain how much i love u Zia Bet. She Said “Yes” Today,” read the tweet.

The Malaika hitmaker, who got married to Zia Bett in a private wedding ceremony last Friday, loves to keep his life private and the couple hardly share photos of each other on social media.
Nyashinski’s real twitter account has a total of 124,000 followers while the pseudo one has 20, 000 followers.
He has been struggling with the fake since 2019. The account was created in 2016 while the original one dates back to 2013.
