The family of Ken Osinde, William Ruto’s late Chief of Staff, has asked Kenyans to stop speculating over the cause of his death.
Osinde died on Friday evening December 10th at the Nairobi Hospital where he was receiving treatment.
Questions have been raised about what caused Osinde’s death. Blogger Robert Alai asked Ruto hard hitting questions about Osinde’s death after revelation by Interior CS Fred Matiang’i that he was fit and healthy.
“Lakini Bwana @FredMatiangi says that Ken has been fit and healthy. Who eliminated Ken? Why now? Was he helping the govt unmask the looters?” Robert Alai tweeted.

Some people linked Osinde’s death to politics. The cause of his sudden death was not made public leaving room for people to speculate.
Osinde’s family has since come out to plead with Kenyans to stop speculating over the death of their kin.
The family used the opportunity to reveal that Osinde underwent surgery before he was overwhelmed and died while receiving advanced treatment.
“The family requests the avoidance of speculation on the cause of the passing of Ken Osinde and privacy during this trying period.
