Mzee Raila Will Defeat You By 6AM If Your Not Careful- Uhuru To Ruto

Date:

President Uhuru Kenyatta on Thursday took a swipe at Deputy president William Samoei Ruto and his close allies for always referring to Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) leader Raila Odinga as an old man (mzee).

While speaking in Nakuru county, President Uhuru Kenyatta said that leadership has nothing to do with age as is being propelled by deputy president Ruto and his team, insisting that it has everything to do with the brain.

As a result, he urged those people referring to others as unable to go slow lest they get shocked by the turn of events.

DP Ruto and his allies have on several occasions criticized the leadership ability of Raila Odinga on the basis that he is too old.

According to these leaders, Kenyans ought to ignore Raila Odinga and elect them because they are younger than him in terms of age.

“Fikirieni na msikimbie. Msikuje na speed. Speed inaangusha jameni. afadhali polepole nsa ufike pahali ambapo ulikuwa unafika, unaniskiza? Mnaniskiza nyinyi? mnanielewa? Mkikuja ati sijui ati mzee hafai tunataka kijana namna hii uyu ako namna hii uyu nako namna ile mtu anachagua na ubongo bana .” Said Uhuru in defence of Raila from Ruto’s attacks.

“Uongozi uko kwa akili si kama mpira ya kuchezwa kwa uwanja, sio sprint, ni marathon. we utakimbia haraka uchoke lakini mzee akuje polepole akupite pumzi ikiisha kama bado uko kwa barabara.” Continued president Uhuru.
