Former Nairobi governor Mike Mbuvi Sonko has exposed the recently sworn in Nairobi governor Ann Kananu as one who sexually made her way to the top.
In a leaked audio clip shared by Mike Sonko, a woman gave a blow by blow account of how Ann Kananu and Justice Chitembwe were involved in numerous sexual escapades.
According to the woman believed to be very close to Ann Kananu, she told Mike Sonko that any senior person in Government that the female governor met was courtesy of her efforts and connection.
The woman in the background also dragged senate speaker Kenneth Lusaka into the conversation, claiming that she made her meet Mr. Lusaka at some point.
The woman further revealed that the new Nairobi governor and judge Juma Chitembwe went all the way to Naivasha just to have sex.
“Any judge that Kananu has seen is through me. Any senior person Kananu amekanyaga kwake ata akina Lusaka, that is my brother in law.” Said the woman.
The expose of Ann Kananu by former governor Mike Sonko comes a few days after Ann Kananu was sworn in on Tuesday at exactly 10 AM in the morning.
The Supreme Court had on Monday struck out an application by the former Nairobi Governor challenging the swearing-in of Ann Kananu as the next county chief.
Supreme Court judge Mohammed Ibrahim had on 25th October directed the Assumption of Office of the county and the committee spearheading the process to pause the swearing in of Ann Kananu to allow Sonko time to argue his case.
The top court while throwing out the interim order which elapsed that Monday argued that it lacked the jurisdiction to entertain the former governor’s application.
“We lack jurisdiction to entertain the application. Objections by the clerk, Nairobi county assembly, and county assembly sustained. Motion dated October 23 is incompetent and hereby struck out,” the court said.
According to the Star, Sonko moved to the Supreme Court after the Court of Appeal rejected his application to stop Kananu’s swearing-in.
