Sudi Insists The Admissions For The Two Luos Are His, To Produce 50 Classmates

Date:

Kapseret member of parliament Kipchumba Oscar Sudi has remained defiant and has vowed to fight for the admission numberĀ  and a certificate belonging to one Luo womanĀ  and a luo man respectively.

According to Oscar Sudi, those who are prosecuting his case in the social media are mere busy bodies who are after tainting his good image.

The vibrant Kapseret member of parliament also blamed the mainstream media such as Citizen TV, The Star, Nation, Standard Digital and KNEC for persecuting him unnecessarily.

“I have seen busybodies prosecuting my case in the court of public opinion. Why can’t they wait for the court process to takes it’s course?….When it’s my turn I will align over 50 witnesses on my side. We all know who owns Nation Standard Digital , Citizen TV Kenya and The Star, Kenya and even know those who control the KNEC. They should stop peddling lies around my case. Yo pleli! Mjivinjari!” Wrote Sudi.

The legislator was on Wednesday exposed in a court of law after fresh details emerged that the legislator was in possession of a Diploma certificate and an admission number belonging to two different people.

K24 reported that John Matsheshe, a former Head of Examinations at the Kenya Institute of Management (KIM) told the Anti Corruption Court that Oscar Sudi was never their student and that the Diploma certificate in question belongs to Elkanah K. Kimutai, a former student of the institute.

The witness further revealed that the admission number captured in one of the certificates presented to the Ethics and Anti Corruption Commission belonged to a lady who was once a student at the institution in 2005.

ā€œThe admission number NRB/20879 belongs to Scholastica Achieng Odhiambo of Diploma in Management of NGOs .The student was registered in 2005,ā€ said John.

The state counsel Joseph Riungi did not stop there as he pressurized John to disclose more about the certificate. As a result, he stated that Elkanah K. Kimutai (the owner of the certificate) was once Ā pursuing a Diploma in Purchasing Management at that school.

ā€œThe copy of the presented certificate is not a copy of a genuine document issued by the Institute. The number 36262 on the certificate belongs to a document issued to Elkanah K Kimutai of admission number NRB/20870 of Diploma in Purchasing and Supplies Management which was issued on September 24, 2009,ā€ he added.
