Human activists Boniface Mwangi penned a sweet message to celebrate his son Jabali Mboya as he turned ten years.
In an Instagram post Mwangi revealed that he named his son after the freedom fighter, Tom Mboya, who was assassinated.
“Today this young king turned 10 years old. Jabali Mboya is named after Tom Mboya, a freedom fighter and a progressive leader who was assassinated in 1969 by the regime he was serving. Mboya once said “I have news for you, there is no Superman (it’s up to us.)”
We are the super Kenyans who will ensure Jabali’s and every Kenyan child’s future is secure,” Mwangi wrote.
He referred to his son as a king of soft life while praying that he does not lack anything in life.
“Jabu is the king of soft life and great puns. I pray to God that he shall be blessed and he shall never lack, or accept less so that he can fit in. A better Kenya is what we must bequeath Jabu and his generation. Happy birthday to our son Jabu,” he added.

Mwangi celebrated his son even though he is undergoing a difficult time after his family house in Lukenya, Machakos county was bombed down.
The activist accused Machakos governor Alfred Mutua of being behind the bombing.
“I’m a resident of Lukenya, Machakos County. About two hours ago, Governor Alfred Mutua thugs bombed my house (under construction), sank the house foundation and robbed my workers. I can’t go there now for safety reasons. I know it’s Mutua because he is a molester. and an abusive man. I’m not a criminal. I don’t do deals. I have never compromised my values. He has used state resources to blow up the house my family was building,” Mwangi said in a instagram post.
Governor Mutua has since asked Mwangi to withdraw any defamatory remarks that he made and offer him an apology or else he sues him.
