Machakos governor doctor Alfred Mutua has been exposed by his electorates for giving them a false promise some time back.
Apparently, governor Mutua had in the past claimed that every household in Machakos would have piped water by last year 2020, something which has not come to pass if the complaints by Machakos residents are anything to go by.
“By 2020 every household in Machakos will have piped water and shower.” Governor Mutua was quoted by a local media.
Following the empty promise, this is how a number of citizens from Machakos reacted:
“The only thing he did for that last 9 years is to have his mom piped water and showers .He also constructed tarmac road for her as you suffer because of underdevelopment. He ate everything, now he’s your future #GovernorMutuaExposed”
“This is 2016. It’s so sad that a conman of all time, worse than Dp Ruto wants to lecture Kamba community on which direction to go!!”
This type of leaders is what we should get rid of because they keep on lying to the people. #GovernorMutuaExposed

Every home was to have a head shower within 30 days. A city and F1 circuit ended up as Machakos park.

At the same time, while some Kenyans have been castigating Governor Mutua for allowing a stranger like Juliani to take his wife, others like Boniface Mwangi have been encouraging the act.
This is what Boniface Mwangi said on Saturday after he posted pictures with Lillian Mutua and Juliani together:
“Life is short, don’t let religion, or societal expectations make you stay in an unhappy relationship. Go where you’re loved. If you have loved once, you can love and be loved again. Love is a choice. Love is beautiful. Don’t be afraid to love whoever you want to love. ❤️
I’m here to offend those men who behave like their partners are personal assets. Assets are dead things, they have no feelings or emotions. Partners have flesh and blood, they can move on and you can do nothing about it. Money doesn’t make a man, manners do. Pesa bila tabia ni sumu.”
Following their separation, Veteran musician Juliani disclosed how exactly his relationship with governor Mutua’s wife Lillian Ng’ang’a began.
While speaking in an interview with KTN, Juliani stated that it never took long for them to fall in love.
According to him, they fell in love at first sight and it never took time for the two to begin engaging in romantic affairs.
It is then that he officially began pursuing Lillian Ng’ang’a, adding that there are a number of qualities he loved in Alfred Mutua’s wife Lillian Ng’ang’a.
“Lilian, I met her like early or mid-June. As a man I did not sleep in class,” Juliani said amid giggles.
“I haven’t seen many women like that. She has clarity of mind, clarity of purpose.. the kind of things she values. She respects herself,” he shared.
On her side, Lillian Ng’ang’a also came out in public to declare her love for Juliani by insisting that they were two adults who knew whatever they were doing.
“In this photo, are two fully conscious adults who have chosen to be together. Any other narrative is false, outdated and ill-intentioned. Let’s respect people’s choices,” read a brief statement from the couple.
