Ugandan artist Jose Chameleon has opened up about his friendship with former Kyadondo MP Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine.
According to Chameleon, Bobi Wine is a good leader but not a good friend.
This is because Bobi Wine neither paid Chameleone a visit nor reached out to him when he was hospitalized.
“When I fell sick, Bobi Wine never bothered to visit me, not even a text as a friend. Putting politics aside, Bobi Wine is a very good leader no doubt, but not a friend. Because what kind of friendship is that?” Chameleone posed during an interview with NBC.
He further said that Bebe Cool was a better friend than Wine since he always reaches out to him.
“Bebe Cool always reaches out to me and delivers cake on my birthday. I don’t have a reason as to why I should superglue on someone who is not even noticing me. Let me stick with the ones that love me,” Chameleone said.
The valu valu hitmaker was hospitalized last month, something that made his fans worried and took to social media to pray for his recovery.
Chameleone was admitted to Nakasero Hospital in Uganda. It was reported that he was battling a liver and pancreas disorder which was as a result of consuming excessive alcoholic drinks.
Chameleone is said to have been trying to quit drinking following an advice from his doctor.
