Raila Pours Millions Of Money In Nyeri’s Karatina Market

Date:

It seems the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) Raila Odinga is on a mission to win the hearts of the Mt. Kenya voters using all means.

While on his Mt. Kenya tour, Raila made an impromptu stop at the famous Karatina market where he openly bought goods and services from the local traders, with those around estimating that he spent millions to buy from a majority of traders.

However, this move did not go well with William Ruto supporters as they accused the opposition leader of copying whatever they had been doing.

“Raila Odinga and his Kieleweke doing copycat Hustler Nation, we won election in Kiambaa by-election on Hustler for Hustler strategy now taken Raila in Central Kenya, they are now buying from mama Mbogas and other traders in Karatina market and taking photos.”

“Several traders are smiling all the way home after these people stormed the market during one of their stopovers to promote small scale business people just like our deputy president William Ruto had been doing. They are not only interested in taking photos but have also conquered the mountain today.” Added one supporter of DP Ruto.

Prior to going to Karatina market, Raila noted that he had been a guest in the Mt. Kenya for the last three days where he not only had a wonderful time but was also well received by the people as he paid tribute to those who made it possible.

At the same time, the ODM leader noted that his journey to Mt. Kenya was part of a wider consultative meetings that are being held across the country to get their views on the issues affecting them.

“Ladies and gentlemen, as you have already been told in a statement, I have been a guest here in Mt. Kenya for the last three days. We have had a wonderful time, we have been well received by the leadership and the people of this region.

“And I take this opportunity to pay tribute to those who have welcomed us here during this period of time. This is part of consultative meetings that we are holding across the country with our people. It is a process of dialogue so that we can be able to identify problems affecting different parts of the country and come up with issues affecting them.” He said.
