NRG Radio Presenter Mourns Dr. James Gakara, Refers To Him As Her Hero

Nakuru based gynecologist Dr. James Gakara who is claimed to have killed his two children by injecting them a drug before attempting suicide passed away on Wednesday morning.

Gakara left behind some bitter memories but there are those who will remember him for some good reason.

One of those people is NRG’s radio presenter Natalie Githinji.

While condoling the family and patients of the deceased, Natalie mourned Dr. Gakara  referring to him as her hero.

She revealed that Gakara helped her while she was struggling with endometriosis and that she had planned to pay him a visit on Thursday only for things to take a turn.

“Thank you Doc for helping me through my endometriosis journey… thank you for helping me discover what my problem was… and thank you for holding on to me till the last day (surgery day),” Natalie said on Instagram.

“I will forever celebrate you, you know how much I thanked you every time we had a session and how much we laughed and discussed about @nrgradiokenya… REST WELL MY HERO. ?,” she said.

She further paid tribute to five-year old Dylan Gakara and three-year old Karuana Gakara.

“REST WELL too pretty Angles, though we never met, your dad was an amazing person ?? sorry this ended in a bad way but God is our all. Condolences to his family and patients ??,” Natalie wrote.

The two children were found dead with their father unconscious on Saturday night after neighbors alerted the police.

According to reports, the doctor resolved to take away his life and that of his children after an argument with his wife Winnie Odhiambo. The police said that Winnie was in Nairobi when the incident occurred.
