A Man from Kericho county left locals in shock for pouring hot tea on his wife’s private part after she found a “mambo” text message on his phone.
According to NTV, the husband busted the wife as she was trying to copy the phone number of the person who sent the message.
The 25 year old mother of three said that she was curious after some number sent his husband a mambo message but the man was so much annoyed by her behavior that he ended up stripping her naked before pouring very hot tea on her private part.
Further, residents expressed their shock why the police officers were reluctant to take up the matter despite the same being reported to the police station.
As a result, the family of the assaulted woman are now asking the relevant agencies to take up a serious action against the husband for pouring hot tea on the wife’s private part.
At the same time, neighbors conversant with the couple while speaking to Sonko News revealed that they never expected such a thing to happen since the two have been peaceful with no major cause for alarm.
“We are shocked by this incident since for the many years we have been living here, these two have never had a serious disagreement and it is shocking that the man had to pour hot tea on his wife due to a mere text message.” He posed.
Another lady said that couples should build trust in a bid to avoid such minor instances laced with violence towards each other.
