A Kenyan born medic by the name Dr. Beatrice Ogutu on Saturday died mysteriously at a parking lot in Texas, United States.
The lifeless body of Beatrice Danielle Dagosi Ogutu who was practicing in the United States was found inside her car at a parking lot under unclear circumstances in Dallas. Texas.
Reports indicate that prior to her death, CCTV cameras captured the woman walking towards her car which was at the parking lot.
Apparently, Dr. Beatrice Ogutu’s car as reported by Diaspora Messenger seemingly had some mechanical issues.
As a result, some guards at the premises tried intervening but she declined their offer since her friends were already on the way after she called them for assistance.
“After some time, some people saw Ogutu sleeping in the car with its window lowered down a little. After touching her, they said she was unresponsive and unsuccessfully tried to resuscitate her.” Quoted a source familiar with the incident.
In the meantime, the remains of Dr. Beatrice Ogutu were transferred to a funeral parlour within Bedford where an autopsy will be conducted in a bid to unravel what really led to her mysterious death in a parking lot.
At the same time, the police officers from Texas surrounded the crime scene as they tried to gather any information in the surrounding that would help them in their investigations.
Prior to her death, Beatrice Ogutu was part and parcel of Truevine International Inc.
In the meantime, Kilimani Mums Uncensored Facebook group founder Leah Wangari Gatonye died a tragic death moments after she was arrested by US authorities.
41-year-old Wangari was arrested for driving under the influence (DUI) after she was involved in an accident in Bluffton, South Carolina.
Bluffton Police Department charged Wangari DUI and child endangerment following the accident that occurred on Red Cedar Street at around 2pm on August 1st 2021.
The Kilimani Mums Uncensored founder was booked in Beaufort County Detention Center where a nurse determined that she needed to go to the hospital.
Beaufort County spokesperson Chris Ophardt said that staff at the emergency room at Beaufort Memorial Hospital cleared Wangari before she was taken back to the jail.
Wangari’s situation however deteriorated quickly overnight while she was locked in her jail. The Kilimani Mums Uncensored founder was found coughing blood while lying on the floor by a guard who was making routine rounds.
The quadragenarian was rushed to Beaufort Memorial Hospital before being flown to the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) in Charleston.
Wangari died on August 5th while receiving treatment at MUSC. Beaufort County Coroner David Ott said the Kilimani Mums Uncensored founder succumbed to injuries she sustained in the accident.
Wangari struggled with alcoholism for a while, in 2016 she shared a letter from her daughter on Kilimani Mums Uncensored group in which she was urging her to quit drinking.
While sharing the letter in 2016, Wangari claimed she had been sober for 14 months. She stated that she would have been dead were it not for her daughter’s advice to steer clear of alcohol.
The late Wangari was the secretary of the Kenyan Diaspora Foundation, she was also one of the administrators of notorious Kilimani Mums and Dads Facebook page which was deleted by the social media giant.
