Two people died on the spot after vehicles collided in an accident along Kajiado-Namanga road on Saturday.
The accident occurred after a Toyota Probox collided with a truck driven by a Burundian at around 6:30 pm.
“The driver of the Probox tried to avoid hitting an on-coming trailer ferrying timber headed to Kajiado town. The Probox hit the front right side of the truck which made it swerve off the road,” Central Sub-County police commander Daudi Lornyokwe said.
The police commander said one person out of the four passengers in the Probox died immediately after the accident.

Those who died at the spot was the truck driver, Isidore Birigirimana, 34, and Edwin Audi, an employee of Kenya Television Network (KTN)
The police added that the other injured victims were rushed to Namanga government hospital for treatment.
