“6 Months Not Even A Coin” Triple5Bet Owners Exposed For Eating Life With A Big Spoon As Employees Go Hungry

Date:

Triple5bet betting company is on the spot for denying over 20 employees their salaries for the last six months.

This after one of the firm’s employees decided to seek help from activist Boniface Mwangi so that their plight can be highlighted with hopes of finding justice.

According to the message seen by Sonko News, the unidentified employee said that they have been threatened whenever they ask for their salaries.

“Am an employee of Triple5Bet and it is very sad man that for the last 6 months the owners have refused to pay us and when you ask for salaries you are threatened.

“Some of us nyumba zimefungwa and our kids can’t even go to school, 6 months of not even a coin,” the Triple5bet employee complained.

The employee further revealed that the Triple5bet is owned by Simon Gacharu, who is the owner of TV47 and Mt. Kenya University together with his son Kevin and Paul Ndung’u who initially was among the owners of Sport Pesa.

The employee also said that they are scared of taking legal actions because they feel their case would not go anywhere.

“But tukipata lawyer to help us itakuwa sawa.Imagine 20+ staff going demanding 6 months salary, ” the employee added.

Another employee also complained about the same revealing that the company has not even paid winners of previous Jackpot and bets.

“I was an employee of Croissance Limited c/o Triple5bet company. It has been  lose to 5 months we’ve gone with no pay. They have refused us to access contracts over the time and when we inqure of payslips, they don’t bring them forth.

“Some employees have worked there from wayback when it was called Ekabets. They were not paid their balances when they changed the company to Triple5bet.

“They have users’ balances and they haven’t paid winners of the previous jackpots and bets too. In case you need any receipts, I am willing to share,” the second employee said.

A statement from the betting firm also confirmed what the employees were going through. The firm apologized over the salary delays while saying that trading had been suspended for the last few months due to the unforeseen challenges they were undergoing.

“The owners have been facing unforeseen financial difficulties that necessitated the need to suspend trading until we are confident enough to resume operations,” part of the statement read.

Triple5bet said that operations will resume at the end of March. Employees were also asked to be patient till mid-month for the company to settle at least last month’s salary as they work towards clearing that off of the remaining months.
