As some people work their whole lives to become millionaires, and some never achieve that, a 10-year old girl is already a millionaire.
Pixie Curtis from Australia is running two businesses that are giving her lots of money and would probably become the youngest person to retire at the age of 15 years.
Pixie set up a toy company, with the help of her mother, Roxy Jacenko, and within just two day of launching the company, they had made immense profits.
Away from the Pixie fidgets company, the girl, who is in elementary school, runs a hair accessories business that she inherited from her mother. According to reports, her mother set up the business while she was still young.
“She can retire at 15 if she wants to. Our family joke has been “I’ll be working till I’m 100 and Pixie will have retired at 15 – I certainly know who’s smarter,” the mother, who is a successful businesswoman, said.
Lessons to pick from Pixie’s story include
Parents should empower their children
Pixie’s mother helped her daughter to set up a business. Parents need to empower their children in whatever way they can. Not necessarily by setting up businesses for them and making them millionaires at a tender age, but through educating them, motivating them and being a good role model to them.
Age is just number
Some are millionaires at a tender age, while others are at an old age after a time of working and working. However what matters is how hard you work, as the adage goes, hard work pays.
Believe in yourself
Pixie was just below 10-years when the toy company idea came up. If she would have not believed in herself, then her success would just be a story in a novel.
