Controversial lawyer Dr. Miguna Miguna has made it very clear to the parties in the court that the supreme court judges will not help those who harassed them during Maraga’s time.
Miguna through his twitter handle wondered how come those in court currently expected judges to bend backwards and favor them after they harassed them in 2017 following the nullification of Uhuruto win.
According to Miguna, both justice Wanjala and Mwilu went through a lot in 2017 under Uhuru and Ruto regime following many threats directed towards their lives.
“The same thugs who shot and wounded Justice Philomena Mwilu’s driver/bodyguard and withdrew Smokin Wanjala’s bodyguards in 2017 and arrested and harassed Mwilu in 2018 are the same ones expecting her to bend over backwards and help them. DISGUSTING sense of entitlement!” He wrote on his twitter.

Prior to the nullification of Jubilee win in 2017 in favor of the National Super Alliance candidate Raila Odinga, there were reports that the bodyguard of justice Philomena Mwilu was shot as a warning to the judges. Sources alleged that the threat was necessary to influence judgment in favor of Uhuru and Ruto.
The news of threatening Mwilu’s bodyguard was condemned by Raila Odinga and other members of the opposition coalition, terming it a return of the dark Moi days.
Fast-forward, it seems Miguna Miguna has brought up the sad memories of Uhuruto’s nullification and his warning has been perceived to be directed at Ruto who was in government then when Mwilu and wanjala were threatened. By that time, Miguna was supporting Raila Odinga’s statehouse bid before he was mysteriously deported to Canada.
The deportation came in the wake of presiding over an illegal swearing in ceremony of the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) leader at Uhuru park. However, the self proclaimed general later blamed Mr. Odinga for being behind his woes and he has never forgiven him to date.
Miguna has always seized every opportunity on twitter to attack president Uhuru Kenyatta and his handshake brother raila Odinga. He has on several occasions accused the two of capturing the state.
