2 killed by bus carrying believers of Prophet Owuor en-route to crusade

Date:

Two people were killed when a bus carrying believers of Prophet Owuor crashed at Ekerenyo.

One person passed away instantly, and the other sadly died while being treated at the hospital.

The congregants of the Repentance and Holiness church were heading to Nakuru from Migori for Prophet David Owuor’s end-of-year spiritual retreat when the bus’s driver veered off course and rammed through the stalls after hitting a culvert.

A number of other people suffered injuries in the collision.

At least 52 passengers were aboard the bus when the accident happened, according to Patrick Ngeiywa, the head of Nyamira North Sub-County Police.

He stated that while several others were taken to Nyamira Teaching and Referral Hospital to receive treatment, at least nine patients were treated at Ekerenyo.

Repentance and Holiness’s Prophet Owuor brought business to a standstill with his massive arrival in Nakuru where Kenyans from all over the country are attending his end year crusade.
