Today, Kenya has recorded the highest number of COVID-19 deaths in a single day after it was reported by the Health Cabinet Secretary, Mutahi Kagwe that 12 patients suffering from the pandemic novel disease, COVID-19 has succumbed to it.
This brings the number of fatalities to 197 after the 12 patients lost their battle.
Also, there have been 189 new COVID-19 infections today after a test was done in 1,205 samples submitted.
Currently, the Republic has a total number of 10,294 positive cases leading in the East African region today.
